A lifetime resident of Rice, MN, I live with my wife Ellie and twins, Ian and Isabelle, age 7.
I'm an avid runner and 2011 membership director for the St. Cloud River Runners. I ran the Mississippi Blues Marathon in Jackson in January at 3:59:27 and will try to run my best race at Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, MN on June 18th and then again in Bristol, NH on October 1st. I need to be lighter in weight to get fast, so the daily challenge of balancing work, family, exercise and a healthy diet fills my day. A dream would be to qualify for the Boston Marathon, but at the moment it's still a dream. Staying injury free while training hard is a fine line. I never thought running to be such a fragile sport. I'm also an avid muskey fisherman and enjoy spending family time at the lakes in the summer.
